February 7-10, 2008 marks the 6th year of The Oklahoma Horse Fair. Since it's inception, we've always featured name brand, top horsemen for our clinics and touched on a different aspect of the horse world each year. This year is no different with three new events added:
-
Thursday starts with World Champion Connie Combs conducting a hands-on barrel-horse clinic followed with a $500.00 added 4-D Barrel Race.
-
Friday will feature the "Best Trail Horse in Oklahoma" competition with a 2008 Titan 2-horse slant with dressing room trailer awarded plus $1,000's in cash. This event will be followed with a Problem Horse Clinic by Kerry Kuhn.
-
In addition to the Ranch Horse Competition and Sale, Saturday includes an "Old West Show & Auction" to be held in the North Exhibition Hall. Do you like old bits, spurs, western collectables & memorabilia? You'll love the quality we have to offer at auction on Saturday (10:00 a.m.) with 150 screened lots, from authentic Navajo rugs, horsehair bridles to bits, spurs, saddles and an 88 year old wood wagon.
Returning in 2008 will be the popular Ranch Horse Competition and Sale, Stallion Avenue, Western Trade Show and Trailer Display, concluding with Sunday's Premier Pony and Miniature Horse Sale and The Oklahoma Select Horse Sale. Entries for all sales open November 1; for additional information, please call Gary Lohman at 405-226-0630. See you in February!
